PS3 Trophies will be mandatory starting in 2009

Good news PS3 gamers, it seems that Sony has finally decided to lay down the law with developers in regards to trophies. Trophy support launched with the 2.40 firmware update back in June, and up until now it's been a constant game of "will this game support trophies?", as Sony has pretty much left that decision up to the developers.
